This Skyeye MCUV Filter Kit for Sony FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS Lens from Kase adds a protective UV filter to the front of the Sony FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS lens. This 150mm filter is made of SCHOTT B270 Superwhite optical glass and features multicoating on each surface for optimal light transmission. In addition to providing a layer of added protection to the expensive front optic of the lens, it filters ultraviolet light to reduce haze for sharper images.
The filter is attached to the front of the lens using the included 150mm front adapter ring, which also allows the use of other 150mm filters or filter holder sets. In addition, a 150mm lens cap is included to protect the filter surface when not in use.
