Its 1.33x anamorphic squeeze enables a wide 2:1 aspect ratio when paired with full-frame 36 × 24mm sensors, while also enhancing the visual signature with characteristic oval bokeh, increased depth, and distinctive cinematic rendering.
With a minimum focus distance of 3.2', the 135mm lens offers excellent compositional flexibility, making it well suited for close-ups, medium shots, and expansive landscapes. The wide T3.2 to T22 aperture range allows reliable performance across varied lighting conditions while providing precise control over depth of field.
For efficient production workflows, the MANTIS series features a consistent 80mm front diameter and 77mm filter thread across the lineup, allowing quick lens changes without adjusting accessories.
